Khidar – (Extracted article from the magazine Equestrian of special stud horses of 2005)

European Champion 2002, Runner-up of the world 2002 and 2003, and Champion of 2003 National Cup, the stud horse "Khidar" since this year is the property of the Khidar Partnership society formed by "EQUUS ARABIANS" of Albert Sorroca and Balbi Moreda; the sheikh emirate Khalid Abdulla Mohammed Al Thani Sharjah and the mares Nesj Arabians of Belgium and Sax Arabians of Germany.

"Khidar" was born in 1997 from the Belgian mare of Maghreb Arabians and is the son of the pure Egyptian "Ansata Sinan" and of the golden-cross "Elizja", which through his great-grandfather "Ibn Estasha" flows the blood of the world famous "Estopa" , branded by Miguel Osuna and mother of the multi-international champion "El Shaklan".  A part from the important titles already mentioned, "Khidar" was also the Potros Champion of Wells (Austria) in 1999, in the Tulip Cup of Duerne (Holand), in the Scandinavian Open in 2000, and Potros Belgium Champion of 2000 and the Stud Horse of 2002.  Despite his youth, "Khidar" already has prize-winning products: "Mambo":  Belgium Champion and Runner-up in Wells (Austria); "Nesj the Khifara" Belgium Champion and the Tulip Cup of Deurne; "Ghajarij" National Cup Champion, Runner-up of Europe, Campeón in Qatar and in Sharjah and Runner-up in Abu Dhabi; "Wazeem" Champion of Dinamarca; "Orahn", Champion of  Belgium and Runner-up of the Tulip Cup; and "Widar", Champion of Norway. The references of his production are a clear indication of his great genetical potential, a contribution of maximum quality for any program of breeding, and especially for the spanish blood lines of which are known for producing extraordinarily well with the golden-cross lines.
